I’m guessing most teams have started “official” winter workouts by now. Between the two teams and camps my son has 6 practices five 5 nights a week. Whether your out there once a week or seven days a week it is starting to feel like baseball season!! Looking forward to the season is certainly a fun and exciting topic – for all the parents out there like me who just want to see the kids play!! Travel parents in Michigan are focused on writing checks and maybe a little fund raising (with some smack talk on mlive to stir the pot because they want to feel good about writing the check) and trying to figure out how to get to practice in a foot of snow….
As a coach, there’s a lot of unanswered questions right now…. What players will step up? Who will carry the load on the mound, who is going to work hard and surprise some people. The players are looking forward to seeing their teammates and friends and getting some reps in between hockey and basketball practices.
Anyway I thought I’d share my ideas for upcoming post’s over the next few weeks to see what kind of feedback and what people are interested in talking about, since a site can only rank teams once in a while
* Comparison of Scoring Software
* Detail reviewed of Scoring Software
* Training Software
* League Rankings
* Equipment Shopping Tips – Best Local / Best Internet Sites
* Info for New Travel Parents
* DYI Training Equipment
* At Home Training Ideas
* Teams looking for players
* Cherry Pick Mlive topics as they come up – For example: 38488 – have a discussion about players athleticism vs “baseball” only skills.
Let me know your ideas! Most of you reading this are junkies like me and I am sure will have a lot to say!!!
